Egg Safety

A while back, NBC had a slogan, "If you haven't seen it, it's new to you!" So goes life -- there's so much I don't know, and when I do learn something, it's News to Suz...

No one else may ever read this blog, but I figured it would be a fun way to chronicle the little bits of knowledge that I pick up here and there.

For instance, with the the ginormous egg recall going on right now, I've learned that there are two agencies that have responsibilities over chicken eggs. The FDA oversees the safety of eggs that are still in their shells. The USDA takes over when the eggs are cracked open and used in other food. Not earth-shattering knowledge, but News to Suz!
